I'm a game developer with a passion for Unreal Engine 5. I've had a keen interest in game development since I was young and have always been fascinated by the creative possibilities it offers. With a degree in Computer Science, specialising in Software Development and a background in programming with extensive industry experience outside of the games industry, I bring a unique perspective to my game development projects.
Currently, I'm focused on expanding my skill set by diving into 3D asset creation with Blender. I started a Mastered Bootcamp in March, a 16-week intensive program, where I had the opportunity to create a variety of items for my portfolio. During this time, I learned a tremendous amount and proved myself as a fast learner. It's astonishing to think that I hadn't even used Unreal Engine before March!
In the past, I had experience making maps and game mods using the Source Engine (during the Counter-Strike: Source and Killing Floor days). My programming journey began with VB6, where I learned the foundations of coding by creating tools to simplify my tasks. I've also dabbled in Python game development and have a solid understanding of web development, proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
I'm now eager to break into the gaming industry and continue honing my skills. I'm passionate about creating immersive and enjoyable experiences for players, and I'm excited to contribute my expertise to exciting game development projects.
